Urunly ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide group expense splitting services:
- Account Data: Email address and optional name provided during sign-in.
- Transaction Data: Expense titles, amounts, member roster names, and group settlement records created by users.
- Receipt Images: Images of receipts uploaded for automated OCR scanning.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to:
- Authenticate users via secure email One-Time Passwords (OTP).
- Process uploaded receipt images with AI Document OCR to extract line-item totals.
- Credit prepaid scan purchases to your account balance upon payment confirmation.
- Maintain and improve app functionality and security.
3. Payment & Third-Party Processors
Payment processing for scan credit packs is handled by Midtrans (PT Midtrans). When initiating a purchase, necessary transaction details (order ID, amount in IDR) are passed to Midtrans. Urunly does not store or process credit card numbers or banking passwords directly on our servers.
4. Data Protection & Security
All data transmitted between your browser and Urunly is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS. Uploaded receipt images are stored in private S3 object storage with strict access controls. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties.
